Swiss Cybersecurity Sep. 15, 2026
While some days are much too pretty to spend inside, I still went to the Sep. 15 Swiss Cybersecurity Meeting.I was glad I went - it was nice to see the friendly faces of regular attendees and the presentations were quite good: dense enough to be useful, quick enough to hold my attention.Frank Villaro-Dixon, a senior cloud architect at i-TRACING gave a whirlwind tour of best practices for hardening Kubernetes, which was followed by Cloud Native Ambassador Raphaël Pinson introducing eBPF, which allows you to run code in the Linux kernel, enabling observation and security features that really wouldn't be feasible any other way.— Zak
